Format and Placement
–  4/4 format – one point scored per HEAT won  AND one point per RACE won. If it’s a tie at 2 for 2, then each team will split the Race point.
–  3/5 format – one point scored per RACE won.

Tiebreaker for Placement
  1) Head to Head Results
2) Fastest Time Overall

Crating: There will be indoor crating.  Since this is a 1 ring tournament and we have 35 teams, there should be plenty of room, but still, beconsiderate of other and be as compact as possible. There is a long hallway that could fit a lot of crates, it’s quieter and it’s close to the back/side entrance.  If you crate in the main room on grey matting, then you’ll need to put another mat (NOT A TARP) under your things, including chairs. If you crate on the black mats, you don’t need anything else. You don’t need anything to crate in the hallway but it could be slippery.  We have pieces of mats that you can use, or those outdoor camping mats will work too.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and title ribbons will be awarded. Since there will be no award’s ceremony on Sunday, just pick up your ribbons on your way out.

Raffle: There will be a small raffle this year with proceeds going to the Megan Ryder fund, as well as the proceeds from the 2018 March Madness t-shirts we had made.  We’ve had a couple people who missed the deadline for ordering shirts, so if anyone else is interested in ordering for after this weekend, just let a Syracuse Flyball person know.

Vendors: We will have just one vendor this year, Paws in Harmony  Harmony Coriddi, a certified canine bodywork/massage practitioner will be set up near the food court.

Misc.: 1) The restrooms have had a little face-lift, plus the women’s and the men’s rooms have been switched. Just make sure you check the signs.
2) There will be a photo section where you can take photos of your dogs/team in front of a sheet of tennis balls. We also have new title signs you can New Title Signsuse as well.
3) Anyone who ordered 2018 March Madness shirts can pick them up Friday or Saturday.  If there are enough people interested, we could do another order of these shirts for delivery after the tournament, just see a Syracuse Flyball person.

FOOD: We are proud to once again provide our very own, Sit, Stay, Cafe during the tournament.  They will be there to provide breakfast and lunch both days!

One additional note about food, please support our Sit, Stay, Cafe.  These people have worked hard to provide good, local food at a very decent price.  I don’t want to ban people from bringing other food into the building, but if you must, please be very discreet.  The people working the Cafe get their feelings hurt if they see people eating food other than what they worked so hard to provide.
